Trip Length

7, 10, 15 or 21 Days: Choosing a Trip Length

“Days” counts travel days, so a 15-day package usually means 14 hotel nights. The Makkah/Madinah splits below are common starting points — you can move nights between cities.

7 days

About 6 nights · e.g. 3 Makkah + 3 Madinah

For people with limited leave. Umrah, a few days of prayer in each city and little spare time. Tiring for elderly travellers.

10 days

About 9 nights · e.g. 5 Makkah + 4 Madinah

A steadier pace with time for Ziyarat and rest. Suits couples and working professionals.

15 days

About 14 nights · e.g. 8 Makkah + 6 Madinah

Room for rest days between visits to the Haram. A common choice for families and first-time pilgrims.

21 days

About 20 nights · e.g. 12 Makkah + 8 Madinah

Long periods of worship in both cities. Often lower cost per night, but more to spend on food and daily needs.

Listed packages: our package pages cover 7, 10, 12 and 14 nights. Any other length within the Saudi visa’s permitted stay can be quoted — just tell us your leave dates.

Flights

Umrah Flights from Pakistan by Airport

Umrah flights leave from eight international airports in Pakistan. These are the non-stop routes to Jeddah (JED) and Madinah (MED) we found when we checked on 25 September 2026:

AirportNon-stop to JeddahNon-stop to Madinah

Connecting flights

Connections via Riyadh, Dubai, Doha or Sharjah (for example on Saudia, flynas, flydubai, Emirates, Qatar Airways or Air Arabia) can help when non-stop seats are full or expensive, but they add travel time. Your quote will say clearly whether a flight is non-stop.

Schedules change

Airlines change routes and days every season. The airline, flight number, times and baggage allowance in your written quote are what count — not any list online, including this one.

Jeddah or Madinah first?

  • Jeddah first: more flights. The Miqat is crossed in the air, so you must be in Ihram before it — many pilgrims change at home or at the airport.
  • Madinah first: no Ihram needed on arrival, so you can rest before Umrah. You put on Ihram at Dhul Hulayfah on the way to Makkah. Fewer non-stop flights.

Baggage & Zamzam

  • Allowances depend on the airline and fare type. Check the exact kilograms on your ticket.
  • Zamzam rules (quantity, packaging, whether it counts in your allowance) are set by each airline.
  • Excess baggage is charged by the airline and is normally not included in package prices.

Seasonal pressure

  • Ramadan (especially the last ten nights), school holidays and December see the highest demand.
  • Non-stop seats sell out first. Connecting flights may be the only choice close to peak dates.
Makkah & Madinah Hotels

Hotels: What Your Quote Must Tell You

Hotel rates and availability change every week in both holy cities, so we don’t list “sample” hotels you may not get. Instead, every quote names the actual property and gives these details:

DetailMakkah hotelMadinah hotelWhy it matters
Hotel nameNamed in quoteNamed in quoteLets you check photos, location and reviews yourself

Makkah: distance and hills

Hotels in the areas right around the Haram — the Clock Tower (Abraj Al Bait), Ajyad, Jabal Omar and Ibrahim Al Khalil Road — are the closest and most expensive. Hotels in districts such as Aziziyah or Kudai are cheaper but often rely on a shuttle or taxi. Makkah is hilly, so 600 metres uphill feels very different from 600 metres on the flat. Ask for the walking route, not just the straight-line distance.

Madinah: a more compact centre

Most package hotels in Madinah sit in the central area around Masjid an-Nabawi, and the walk is usually flatter and shorter than in Makkah. For many families, a mid-range Madinah hotel paired with a closer Makkah hotel gives the best balance of comfort and cost.

Price Transparency

What Changes the Price of Umrah from Pakistan

Two quotes for “15 days, 4 star” can differ by lakhs. These are the reasons, roughly from most to least impact:

  1. Travel dates. Ramadan (especially the last ten nights), school holidays and December cost the most. Quieter months cost less.
  2. Hotel distance. In Makkah, each step closer to the Haram costs more — often more than the star rating itself.
  3. Room sharing. The room price is divided between the people in it, so the price per person drops from double to triple to quad.
  4. Airline and routing. Non-stop flights and flights on peak days cost more than connecting or off-peak flights.
  5. Duration and night split. More nights in Makkah usually costs more than the same nights in Madinah.
  6. Meals and transport. Full board and private cars add to the price. Room-only and shared coaches cost less.
  7. When you book. Rates are set by availability on the day you confirm. A quote is valid only for the period written on it.

Current price range

Our current group departures range from PKR 209,899 per person (sharing room) to PKR 423,299 per person (double room), including return flights, as listed on 2 Oct 2026. Ramadan, school holidays and closer hotels cost more; the exact price for your dates is confirmed in writing. Your price depends on the factors above.

How to spot hidden costs

  • Is the price per person, and for which room sharing type?
  • Are flights included, and with how much baggage?
  • Is the visa included, or will it be added separately?
  • Does the quote give hotel names, or just “near Haram”?
  • Which meals are included, in which city?
  • Is transport shared or private?
  • How long is the quote valid?

Changes & cancellations

In summary: once the visa has been submitted, the Saudi visa fee can’t be refunded. After flights and hotels are confirmed, refunds follow the airline’s and hotel’s own rules, which we tell you before you confirm. Date changes depend on availability, and any extra cost is confirmed in writing first.

Groups

One meeting point, shared transport and a single itinerary for everyone.

Budget travellers

Quad rooms, off-peak dates and shuttle hotels, with the trade-offs explained honestly.

Premium travellers

Elderly & Family Travel

Planning Umrah with Parents and Children

Hotel access

Ask about lifts to your floor, steps at the entrance and how far the lift is from the lobby. A closer hotel reduces the daily walk more than any other choice.

Wheelchairs

Airport wheelchair help is requested through the airline when the ticket is issued. Inside the Haram, wheelchairs and pushers are arranged locally — budget for this separately.

Room location

Ask for adjoining or nearby rooms for family members. Hotels treat this as a request, not a guarantee, so confirm it at check-in.

Group coordination

Agree one meeting point, share a WhatsApp group and give every family member the hotel card and the local contact number.

This is travel planning guidance only. Please ask a doctor about fitness to travel, vaccinations and managing medicines during the trip.

2026 Rules

Visa & Operator Rules

  • Apply through a MoRA-verified operator. Pakistani passport holders apply for the Umrah visa through a Pakistani operator attested by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, which processes it on Nusuk.
  • Hotel and transport bookings come first. Nusuk requires confirmed hotel and ground-transport bookings from approved providers before the visa is issued.
  • 30-day entry window. Once issued, the visa must be used to enter Saudi Arabia within 30 days, and the stay can last up to 90 days.
  • Nusuk permits in Saudi Arabia. The Umrah permit and the Rawdah visit are booked in the Nusuk app after arrival.
  • Pakistan’s July 2026 rules. Only ministry-verified Umrah companies may arrange Umrah, payments must go through official banking channels, and complaints are only handled against verified companies.

You can check any operator (including us) on the Ministry of Religious Affairs website.

Departure Day

Departure Day Guide

Getting to the airport

Whichever airport you use, leave plenty of spare time for traffic. Night and early-morning flights are common, so arrange transport the day before. Pilgrims from smaller cities often travel the evening before.

When to arrive

Follow the reporting time on your ticket. Airlines commonly ask international passengers to arrive about three hours before departure. Groups should meet earlier.

Documents in hand

Passport, printed visa, e-ticket, vaccination certificates and hotel vouchers — keep them in hand baggage, with photos on your phone.

Baggage

Weigh bags at home against your airline allowance. Keep medicines, one change of clothes and your Ihram in hand baggage.

Ihram timing

If you fly to Jeddah and go straight to Makkah, you must be in Ihram before the plane crosses the Miqat. If you fly to Madinah first, you put on Ihram later, before leaving for Makkah.

First-time travellers

Save the local contact number, install the Nusuk app before you leave, and keep a little Saudi riyal cash for your first day.

FAQ

Umrah Packages from Pakistan: Frequently Asked Questions

The lowest current group price is PKR 209,899 per person in a sharing room (PKR 213,499 quad, PKR 219,599 triple, PKR 231,799 double), including return flights and hotels: AirBlue from Karachi on 10 October 2026, 19 nights, Hotel Number One 3 in Makkah and Retaj Al Madina in Madinah (package UP-105409). Prices update from live inventory; your written quote confirms the final price.

It depends mainly on your travel dates, how close the hotels are to the Haram, how many people share a room and which airline you fly. Our current group departures range from PKR 209,899 per person (sharing room) to PKR 423,299 per person (double room), including return flights, as listed on 2 Oct 2026. Ramadan, school holidays and closer hotels cost more; the exact price for your dates is confirmed in writing.

When we checked on 25 September 2026, non-stop flights to Jeddah ran from Karachi (KHI), Lahore (LHE), Islamabad (ISB), Peshawar (PEW), Multan (MUX), Faisalabad (LYP), Sialkot (SKT) and Quetta (UET). Non-stop flights to Madinah ran from Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Multan. Pilgrims from smaller cities usually travel by road to the nearest of these airports. Schedules change each season.

Yes. Pakistani passport holders apply for the Umrah visa through a Pakistani operator attested by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, which submits it on Nusuk with confirmed hotel and transport bookings. Since July 2026, only ministry-verified companies may arrange Umrah, and the ministry publishes the list on its website.

A full package normally combines the Umrah visa processed through Nusuk, return flights, hotels in Makkah and Madinah, and road transport in Saudi Arabia (airport transfers and the Makkah–Madinah journey). Ziyarat, meals and extras depend on the package. Your written quote lists every included item — if something is not on it, treat it as not included.

Yes. You can ask for specific hotels or set a maximum walking distance to Masjid al-Haram or Masjid an-Nabawi. Availability and rates change by season, so the exact hotel name, room type and meal plan are confirmed in writing before you pay. If your choice is full, we suggest alternatives of similar category and distance and you decide.

7 days suits people with limited leave who are comfortable with a busy schedule. 10 days allows a steadier pace. 15 days is a common choice for families and elderly travellers who need rest days. 21 days suits those who want long periods of worship in both cities. Custom lengths are possible within the Saudi visa rules.

Yes. Families can book double, triple or quad rooms, ask for rooms close to each other where the hotel allows it, and request child and infant pricing. Share the ages of everyone travelling so the quote shows the correct fares and bed arrangements.

A Pakistani passport with enough validity (six months is the standard most operators apply), your CNIC, recent photographs to the required specification, and a meningococcal ACYW vaccination certificate issued at least 10 days before you arrive in Saudi Arabia. Proof of relationship (such as a B-Form or FRC) may be requested for children and family bookings. The visa itself is processed on Nusuk by a MoRA-verified operator. Requirements can change, so we send the current checklist when you book.

Choose a hotel as close to the Haram as your budget allows, add rest days, request airport wheelchair assistance when the ticket is issued, and check that the hotel has lifts serving your floor. Keep medicines and prescriptions in hand baggage. Speak to a doctor about fitness to travel — we plan the logistics but cannot give medical advice.

Yes. You can mix hotel categories (for example a closer hotel in Makkah and a mid-range one in Madinah), change the Makkah/Madinah night split, choose Jeddah or Madinah arrival, or book land services only. Custom requests are priced in writing like any other quote.

Ask for a written, itemised quote showing the price per person and the room sharing type, the airline and baggage, hotel names and nights in each city, transport, visa and a list of exclusions. Pay only by bank transfer to a business account, keep every receipt, and check the operator on the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ published list of verified Umrah operators.

As soon as your dates are fixed. Hotels closest to the Haram and non-stop seats fill first in Ramadan, school holidays and December. Remember that the Umrah visa must be used within 30 days of issue, so the visa is timed close to travel even when flights and hotels are booked early.
